From his instructional DVD "The King of the Streets" Marco Ruas shows you some of his most effective Vale Tudo techniques.

Step 1: Square Off

Begin from standing position.

Step 2: He Shoots In

Your opponent shoots in for a Double Leg Take-Down.

Step 3: Over / Under

Marco meets his opponent with an over/under hold.

Step 4: Roll

Marco rolls back...

Step 5: Hook

He then sticks a hook inside his opponent's leg and allows the momentum to push him to his back.

Step 6: Elevation

As Marco rolls back he elevates his opponent far over his head.

Step 7: The Reverse

The opponent hits the deck and Marco is catching up.

Step 8: Choose a Pin

Marco could land in Mount but this time chooses to land in side position.

Step 9: Transition

Instead of settling in to side mount, Marco transitions in to Scarf-Hold.

Step 10: Crucifix

With the Over/Under still in place, Marco links hands and sits in to Sacrf. Here he is able to crank on a Crucifix hold.
