Taken from the awesome Tito Ortiz: MMA Freestyle – Instructional Box Set, Tito Ortiz shows you how turn your opponent's a single leg take-down attempt to your favour.

Step 1: Single-leg

Tiki has shot in and grabbed a single leg. Tito pushes Tiki's head away from his body.

Step 2: Head-block

Tito uses his head to block Tiki.

Step 3: Switch

Tito moves his leg from in between his opponents to outside.

Step 4: Thrust

Tito pushes his leg down as if stamping his foot to the floor.

Step 5: Break the grip

The thrusting motion breaks his opponent's grip.

Step 6: Clinch

Tito grips Tiki around the waist.

Step 7: Throw

This position gives Tito a lot of control over Tiki. From here he can execute a variety of different trips and takedowns.
