This was the very technique that clinched Mark Weir his amazing ten second KO of Eugene Jackson at UFC38: Brawl in the Hall. This set is as devastating as it is simple.

Step 1: Square Off

Mark and Leon square off.

Step 2: Chamber

Mark chambers his lead leg

Step 3: Sweep away the Guard

Using a classic Tae Kwon Do ‘Inner Crescent Kick’, Mark swipes away Leon’s guard.

Step 4: Close the Distance

Leon’s guard is wide open as Mark’s lands his kick on the ground.

Step 5: Follow Up

Mark then uses his own forward momentum to follow up with a left straight punch…

Step 6: Finish

…Which is then followed by a big right or flurry.
