I have ordered the black and the orange one.
I am wearing them now for a couple of weeks and the quality is outstanding. Very comfortable.
I calculated my size to 32, but it's a little bit too large.
Disadvantage: Following the instructions you may not wash this in the washing machine.
First off out of the bag they look amazing and with heavyduty stitching. Once you undo the thick Velcro waist and Velcro zipper, you find a heavyduty waist rope to get and even tighter fit when tied. I would not worry about washing this in cold water on a delicate cycle in the washing machine. These shorts are built to last and look so good that i'm not sure if I should frame them with the matching T-shirt on the wall or workout with them. Great job guys.
These shorts are the best ever. They do run large, but don't get in the way of grappling and kicking. There is a drawstring inside that can reduce the waist by 2 inches. If you are looking for some stylish yet functional shorts, these are the ones you need. I can't wait to rock these in the ring.
These Alistair Overeem grappling shorts are amazing. The shorts are very lightweight, the advertisements are screened on. The velcro waist system is awesome, and the drawstring are strong and keep the waist tight. Great buy!
I have the Black and the Orange shorts and I think they are great. But there is a big difference in quality/fit between the two. The Orange shorts are much better. They fit better, they look better, and they feel better. I don't know why, but they just do. Plus on the black shorts there is some bleeding of the orange color onto the white letters; doesn't look to good.
If I had it to do over again I would only get the orange shorts, they are great. And I haven't had any problem with them bleeding colors. I don't know why, but the orange ones are better! 5 stars for the orange, 3 for the black. That is where I get the 4 stars from.
Size Choice - Alistair Overeem Pro Max Grapple Shorts
Posted On: 21 February 2008
I noticed two buyers of the Alistair Overeem Pro Max Grapple Shorts commented that the shorts fit large and to get a size smaller. I wear a 33" waist in jeans but the orange option is only offered in 32" & 34". I don't want a 34" so I'm wondering if the 32" would fit in the 33" range? I don't want the shorts sliding off my while rolling. Any advice would be appreciated because I'd hate to order them and have to send them back.
