The MGB mouth guard features two seperate materials; the upper part of the mouth guard that touches the braces will not change shape after boiling, therefore it will not get caught under the wire of the braces.

The lower part of the Mouth guard is custom fitted to the bottom of the teeth after boiling.

Please note that whilst this gumshield offers some lower jaw protection, it is not a "double" gumshield in the sense where the upper and lower jaw is fully protected.
