Pride 32 Medical Suspensions

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the medical suspensions for fighters on Pride’s October 21st show at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on their website boxing.nv.gov.
Mark Coleman must be cleared by an ophthalmologist for left eye traumatic mydriases sustained during his fight with Fedor Emelianenko; Coleman is under a minimum suspension no contest until 12/21/06, no contact until 12/06/06 Kevin Randleman must have an MRI of his left knee and clearance to compete again after his fight with Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and faces a minimum suspension of no contest until 11/21/06, no contact until 11/12/06 Pawel Nastula must have his right ankle x-rayed and an MRI taken of his right knee to rule out ligament injury after losing to Josh Barnett. He has a minimum suspension of no contest until 11/21/06, no contact until 11/12/06. Sean O’ Haire is suspended until 11/21/06 And ordered to have no contact until 11/12/06 Vitor Belfort is suspended until 11/21/06 after his decision loss to Dan Henderson and is allowed contact until 11/12/06 Travis Galbraith is suspended until 11/21/06 after his TKO loss to Kazuhiro Nakamura and is not allowed contact until 11/12/06 The Nevada commission has suspended Joey Villasenor until 11/21/06, barring contact until 11/12/06 Robbie Lawler must have right wrist x-rayed & cleared by a doctor or not allowed contest until 04/20/07, with a minimum suspension of no contest until 11/21/06. |
