Wallid Ismail Sets Up World MMA League

Jungle Fight promoter Wallid Ismail has devised a new concept to encourage and promote Mixed Martial Arts talent from across the globe. Ismail’s vision is the Mixed Martial Arts World League (MMAWL). The way this will work is all clubs across the globe large and small will be invited to put on their own MMA events shot at their own academies. The participating clubs will be sent all the equipment they need to air these events live on the internet. Wallid’s hope is that promoters across the globe will pay attention to these shows and possibly from them glean some big stars of tomorrow “This league will give the athletes some opportunities and it will be a place of new and good talents. There are many people training in small academies that doesn't have much opportunities and with this league they will can how their job and get some sponsorship and bouts from all over the world.” said Wallid Ismail. The MMAWL has already signed the first academy for their debut in October 2006 and are in negotiations with several others.
