Heros TV Ratings Spike
Date submitted: 11 October 2006
Author: MMA Universe
The Japanese company that tracks T.V. ratings reports that K-1: Hero's 2006 (9 Oct 2006) which was screened by one of Japan’s biggest broadcasting companies, Tokyo Broadcasting System, enjoyed a reasonably big success.

The show drew a 14.6% average rating with its highest viewing peak being the fight between Hideo Tokoro and Japanese action star Ken Kaneko, which spiked at 18.3%.

These figures surpass the opening rounds of the 2006 Hero’s Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Tournament, which starred Kazushi Sakuraba.

Hero's will now be moving in to attack formation for the traditional New Years Eve T.V. ratings showdown with Pride.
