Worries About DEEP Boss’ Health

DEEP President and Dream Stage Entertainment Public Relations Officer Shigeru Saeki revealed to the Japanese media that his health has been suffering.

Saeki spoke to a press conference held for DEEP: 26th Impact on a variety of subjects, including unveiling the full card for the show.

He then told the assembled press that he recently spent four days in hospital while he underwent tests on his kidneys.

Saeki said:

"I may have to begin kidney dialysis"

"If that happens I will have to stop working and DEEP will end."

Shigeru Saeki is known in the Japanese MMA community for his ‘robust’ figure which even prompted Saeki’s colleague, DSE Director Nobuhiko Takada, to comment:

"I worry is that he is going to get fatter and develop diabetes."

Saeki has promised to keep the media informed of his progress and the diagnosis results when they are ready next week.
