Cage Warriors Champion To Fight in Japan

Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion Paul McVeigh has reportedly been offered an opportunity to showcase his skills in Japan.
Our sources indicate that McVeigh will compete on September 9th at Greatest Common Multiple: D.O.G. 7 where he will face perhaps the greatest challenge of his career, former top ranked -56kg Shooto fighter Yasuhiro Urushitani.
McVeigh, who is used to fighting in heavier weight classes than his own, will be forced to cut to meet his opponent at the Catchweight of 58kg. This information has yet to be officially confirmed by GCM, but assuming that it is true it will mean yet another Cage Warriors Champion running riot in the major leagues. |
