TKO Major League MMA continues to be one step ahead of the industry with its debut of the highly anticipated eight-sided competition mat! This revolutionary ring has the ability to use either fencing or ropes. On September 29th there will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide as the Octagon™ will make its Canadian debut with fencing.

The major benefit of using fencing is the fact that it allows for continuous, fast paced MMA action! Fencing also allows the most proficient athletes to use it to their advantage. This is going to separate the men from the boys and the champions from the challengers!

TKO continues to demonstrate true entrepreneurial sprit with the introduction of this new Octagon competition mat! The time and money invested in manufacturing this unique piece of equipment along with the efforts required to change government legislation to allow it was no small feat. The eight-sided competition mat is a registered trademark of Zuffa, LLC in the United States and Canada. In addition, Zuffa owns trade dress and service mark protection in the image of the “octagon” as used in connection with Zuffa’s UFC® mixed martial arts events. Zuffa has agreed to grant TKO Major League MMA a non-exclusive license to use the octagonal competition mat and fenced fighting enclosure in connection with TKO’s mixed martial arts events and all use by TKO is pursuant to the terms of such license. “The Octagon™” is a trademark of Zuffa, LLC and no exclusive rights are claimed by TKO to such term.
