Semtex Takes On Japan

In a match-up that the Japanese media are calling "Hard Strike vs Hard Submission", heavy hitting Cage Rage champion Paul "Semtex" Daley will make his Japanese debut on August 27th when he will face Pancrase’s second highest ranked Welterweight (152.5 lb – 165.7lb) fighter, Satoru Kitaoka.

Kitaoka has a record of 14-8-8 and has an MMAU Score of 168, ranking him a very respectable 143 out of the 18,742 fighters in the MMA Universe database. Satoru Kitaoka has had mixed fortunes this year, having one win, one loss and one draw in 2006; while Daley continues to go from strength to strength.

It is believed that if Daley makes it past Kitaoka he could well be in line for a straight shot at their number one ranked Welterweight fighter, SK Absolute’s Daizo Ishige.
