Southend's First Cage Fight Extravaganza A Smash Hit!

Southend's first cage fight extravaganza has been hailed a smash hit with mixed martial arts fans.
Around 1,000 packed into Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre for the Ultimate Warrior Challenge event and organisers were so impressed by the response they are planning a second show later this year. Sixteen fighters went into the cage, with seven of the nine mixed martial artists from Westcliff-based Team Suregrip Vale Tudo winning their bouts. "It was sold out and the atmosphere was brilliant," said Team Suregrip's Daniel Burzotta. |
