A friend of a friend, of a friend told us that  the Japanese media are hinting at the following match-ups for the second round of Pride’s Openweight Grand Prix, which will be held at Pride: Critical Countdown 2006 Openweight on July 1st.


If these sources are correct we could be seeing:


Fedor Emelianenko vs Kazuyuki Fujita Fair enough, because those two had a good scrap the first time round and this particular fight will be massive in Japan.


…but the other rumoured match,  Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic vs Hidehiko Yoshida,   Why???? Why???????
