Will Kerr Replaces Injured Alex Karalexis at WEC 44

Will Kerr has been tapped to make his WEC debut as a late-replacement for an injured Alex Karalexis, taking on fellow newcomer Kamal Shalorus at World Extreme Cagefighting 44: Brown vs Aldo on November 18 in Las Vegas.
Karalexis was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a hand injury, according to the WEC's announcement. A timeline for his return was not released.
Kerr has won four-straight, but has not fought since a unanimous decision over Marc Stevens last September.
Shalorus remained undefeated in June with a second-round TKO of Justin Miller.
World Extreme Cagefighting 44: Brown vs Aldo airs live on Versus and is headlined by featherweight champion Mike Brown vs Jose "Maldonado" Aldo Jr.
