Cage Rage 16 – 22nd April - will be last event at Wembley Conference Centre
2006 Cage Rage events, all at Wembley Arena: 1st July and 9th Sept 2006
Continuing to build on the Cage Rage brand and securing its place as the biggest MMA event in Europe, Cage Rage have just signed an exclusive deal with IPC Media for Nuts and Loaded to be the official media partners of the event.
Following months of negotiation the final decision was made last week and Nuts will now sponsor the Cage Rage Babes as well as preview and review each of the Cage Rage events. This media deal combined with the move to Wembley Arena on 1st July leaves Cage Rage as a serious force to be reckoned with internationally.
“We are really pleased with the new relationship we have with IPC Media” says Cage Rage MD Andy Geer. “Coverage in Nuts for the rest of 2006 will continue to build on the Cage Rage brand and get the name out there to people who don’t yet know about MMA.”
The Cage Rage coverage will feature within the sports section of the magazine helping to not only promote the event but show to the UK that MMA is a serious sport and not a spectacle.
“We have never been interested in shock press” adds Cage Rage MD, Dave O’Donnell. “Our fighters are serious athletes and our events are tightly produced. The coverage from Nuts will recognise that and push MMA into the UK mainstream”.
We have no doubt that Cage Rage will be leading at the spearhead of that push.
Ahead of all other UK events, in a league of their own.
“Because of Cage Rage, Mixed Martial Arts in the UK is finally getting the recognition it deserves” says Deputy Features Editor at Nuts Damien McSorley, and Nuts readers know that, which is why we are pleased to be working together.”
