Back to the original clash of nations that put it on the map, the Mixed Fighting Championship returns with its unique brand of international cross-over competition to the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey for Saturday, June 3's "USA vs. Russia III."


March 13, 2004 marked the premiere "country vs. country" event hosted on American soil, as nine of Russia's most promising fighters tested their mettle against a team of worthy stateside counterparts in a patriotic and compelling night of non-stop action.


Returning to the States in full force a third time, a renewed Russian contingent will be lead by Red Devil Fight Club's Sergey Kaznovski. The 6'6", heavy-handed heavyweight, who scored a brutal knockout at "USA vs. Russia," will touch gloves with the undefeated Mark Burch.


Teammate Roman Zentsov, hot on the heels of his stunning knockout of Pedro Rizzo at Pride 31: Dreamers, joins Kaznovski in their team's quest for international superiority. Countrymen Erik Oganov, Arman Gambaryan, and Vladimir Zenin have been tapped for the Russian roster as well.


Also on the card, MFC is proud to announce its first-ever welterweight championship title bout between Eddie Alvarez and Derrick Noble. Fight Factory's Alvarez has won over MFC audiences with his fast fists and explosive wrestling, decimating all opponents the promotion has thrown his way in three straight outings. However, Derrick Noble, a MFC 1 veteran who topped highly-regarded Carlo Prater at MFC 6 for his shot at the title, is a smooth striker and consistent all-around competitor. Whomever emerges victorious from this pairing will be a worthy champion.
