Alistair Overeem Meets Briefly with Dana White

Strikeforce and DREAM heavyweight Alistair Overeem and UFC president Dana White on Saturday both showed interest in having the Dutch fighter compete in the UFC.
In White's final video blog for UFC 93: Franklin vs Henderson, Overeem is asked twice at different times if he wants to come fighting for the UFC. White also asks UFC veteran Semmy Schilt, but it's obvious Overeem is the one White is after.
In their first encounter in the video, Overeem walked over to White cageside while the president was watching the fights. After a quick icebreaker, Overeem was asked by White "So you ready to fight in the UFC?" to which he responded, "Yeah, if we work it out with the management." White then turned to the camera and said "I'll try to work it out."
Later backstage after the fights, White flirts again with the idea of bringing in Overeem and Schilt. Overeem expressed why he would be willing to jump ship.
"I am looking for new opponents because everyone has been ducking me and not going to fight me [like] Cro Cop," Overeem said.
"That won't happen here," White assured him. "We'll get you somebody."
