Paul Jenkins to Headline House of Pain 10

House of Pain promoter Mark Jordan is proud to announce the return of Wales' longest running MMA cage event. As after an 18 months absence, House of Pain returns with House of Pain Fight Night 10 at the Escapade Nightclub in Newport, Wales.

House of Pain has been established since 2004 and have previously featured some of Europe's best known fighters, such as UFC veterans Ian "The Machine" Freeman, Paul Kelly and Martin Kampmann.

Now House of Pain returns and hopes to promote a new generation of fighters from Wales and around the UK. However this event will see the return of one long time veteran, as Paul "Hands of Stone" Jenkins fights again in his homeland for the first time in nearly two and a half years as he battles against Clifford Hall in a House of Pain British Welterweight Title Eliminator.

Jenkins is one of the UK's busiest operators having fought across the UK, Europe and even in the WEC in the United States. Primarily a striker, Jenkins' fighting style, bravery and jokes have endeared himself to UK fans, whilst his willingness to take fights even at late notice make him even more respected throughout the industry as at one time he averaged over 18 fights a year for three years running. Whilst his fight record reads like a virtual who's who of the European scene with three fights against Paul "Semtex" Daley on his MMA record as well as bouts against UFC stars Paul Taylor, Dan Hardy, Dennis Siver, Jess Liaudin and many more top names.

Although he has slowed down in recenlt months, Jenkins will be keen to get back to winning ways in his homeland and end a bad run of form.

Clifford Hall will be travelling to Wales looking to upset the homecoming and end 2008 with a bang. Hall who trains out of Total Dojo alongside the likes of Cage Warriors Champion Danny Batten in Milton Keynes, recently moved to Nottingham where he has sparred with the likes of Paul "Semtex" Daley. Hall had a profitable start to 2008 with quick submission wins over Nigel Whitear and Rocci Williams and against Lee Chadwick (At Cage Gladiators). However Hall's winning streak at Middleweight was shattered by the bigger, stronger and more powerful Christian Smith, who TKO'ed Hall in round 2 of their bout at the M-1 Challenge UK event in Nottingham with a ferocious ground and pound attack.

However Hall has a good submission base, with growing striking skills and will be travelling to Wales to take the win now that he has dropped down to Welterweight. Will Hall be able to end the year with a win and stake a claim for a Title shot later down the line or will the experience of Jenkins be a factor as he returns home to fight once more.

The undercard has 14 bouts featuring the likes of Lightweight fighter Daniel "Denzil" Thomas who returns after a medical suspension
Special guests also include Ian "The Machine" Freeman who has several fighters from “Team Machine” on the card. Whilst the UK's number 1 Referee Marc Goddard will be working as the Head Official for the show.
