Sticking with the tradition, the live finale for the latest installment of the UFC's and Spike TV's "The Ultimate Fighter" reality series will take place at The Palms Las Vegas.

The event, which caps off "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir," takes place Dec. 13 and airs live on Spike TV.

The UFC today confirmed the event location.

Additionally, the organization announced ticket on-sale dates for the show. Members of the UFC's fan club can begin purchasing tickets on Thursday at 1 p.m. ET. The public on-sale date is set for Saturday at 3 p.m.

The current season of "TUF," which continues tonight with the season's fifth episode, features lightweight and light heavyweight fighters. The final for each weight class will take place on the live Spike TV broadcast. Other, non-TUF fight, including a rematch between Kevin Burns and Anthony Johnson that MMAjunkie.com reported last month, will fill out the undercard.

The event will take place inside The Palms at The Pearl, which can seat up to 3,000 spectators. The concert venue has hosted the past three "TUF" finales.
