Dana White Puts Together TV Gangster Show

UFC President Dana White is to be an executive producer on a new TV drama for Spike TV.
White has appeared on Spike regularly as it is the home of the UFC’s own reality show - “The Ultimate Fighter”. His new project is a two hour pilot that centres on the explosive fallout when an Irish Boston mob boss vacates his position and rival factions face off in a battle to control the streets.
Dana White was enthusiastic when he talked to The Hollywood Reporter about the project. He told them:
"I know who I'm catering to, and that's 18 - to 34-year-old males who are the ones watching Spike TV. We're going to push the limits on this show, like 'Nip/Tuck' and 'The Shield' - violence, sex, bad language. We're going to see how big Spike's balls are on this one."
Fans of Mixed Martial Arts will not be surprised that White’s pilot includes bad language. The UFC president is famous for peppering his public statements with profanities. |
