EliteXC Fighter Salaries Released

The fighter salaries for Elite Xtreme Combat: CBS Saturday Night Fights 3 have been released bythe Florida State Boxing Commission.
The event took took place on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida.
Late replacement Seth Petruzelli received $50,000 for his stunning 14 second KO of Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson. Kimbo was paid a cool $500,000 for his brief appearance.
The other big earner of the night was Andrei Arlovski. He also got half a million dollars. Arlovski defeated the former IFL star Roy Nelson. Nelson was paid $80,000.
Gina Carano's wage packet is comparatively small considering her popularity. After Kimbo, Gina is probably EliteXC’s best known star. She has mainstream appeal due to ther stint as Crush on the TV show American Gladiators. Carano got $25,000 for her win over Kelly Kobald. Kobalt picked up $6,000.
Jake Shields earned $50,000 for his title fight against Paul Daley. Daley’s pay was $12,000. |
