The Bad News

• The Cage Warriors Strike Force 5 card took a battering at the end of last week.

• Reigning Cage Warriors Middleweight Champion Martin Kampmann sustained an injury in his pre fight preparation for Gregory Bouchelaghem and is no longer able to compete.

• Neither Damien Riccio nor Hassan Muridi are able to appear at the show. Damien Riccio is injured and his original opponent Hassan Muridi is currently in hospital with a crippling kidney infection.

• Finally, Ian Butlin has reluctantly withdrawn from his showdown with Sami Berik, also due to illness.

The Good News

• An excellent replacement opponent has been found for Sami Berik, in the shape of French MMA Star Sammy Schiavo.

• We are still awaiting official conformation from Cage Warriors H.Q. but sources indicate that Cage Warriors Super Heavyweight Champion Antonio Silva has been matched with the undefeated Tadas Rinkevicius, a very bad man from Lithuania.

• Wolfslair Gym’s figurehead Mario Sukata will make his debut at the show, opponent  TBC.
