Elite Xtreme Combat: Unfinished Business was by no means a blockbuster success with less than half of the Saturday event’s tickets being sold.

But for heavyweight Antonio "Pezao" Silva it was an extremely lucrative night. The 6'4'' giant defeated Justin Eilers to capture the first ever EliteXC heavyweight title and pocketed $200,000 along the way.

His hefty salary accounted for 37.5 percent of the event’s total $533,501 payroll.

Robbie Lawler, who participated in the main attraction of the night, came in a distant second earning $90,000 for his successful title defense over Scott "Hands of Steel" Smith. Smith on the other hand made out with only $14,000 for his efforts.

The third highest salary of the night went to hometown boy Nick Diaz who exited the Stockton Arena with $60,000 for his impressive victory over Thomas "Wildman" Denny. Diaz’s training partner and friend Jake Shields earned $45,000 for his quick disposal of Nick "The Goat" Thompson.
