UFC 86 Medical Suspensions

MMAFrenzy.com has acquired the official medial suspensions for UFC 86: Jackson vs Griffin directly from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
 
Topping the list of medical suspensions is former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who was defeated by Forrest Griffin in the night’s main event, who is suspended until January 2nd unless his knee, tibia, fibia, and thumb are cleared by a doctor.
 
Ten of the event’s eighteen fighters were issued a medical suspension.
 
Quinton Jackson (defeated by Forrest Griffin via unanimous decision) — Must have left knee, tibia, fibia, and thumb x-rayed and cleared by orthopedic doctor or suspended until January 2nd. Minimum suspension untin August 5th with no contact until July 27th.
 
Forrest Griffin (defeated Quinton Jackson via unanimous decision) — Must clear right upper eyelid laceration with doctor or suspended until September 4th.
 
Chris Lytle (defeated by Josh Koscheck via unanimous decision) — Must clear right eye lacerations with doctor or suspended until September 4th.
 
Josh Koscheck (defeated Chris Lytle via unanimous decision) — Suspended until August 5th with no contact until July 27th.
 
Marcus Aurelio (defeated by Tyson Griffin via unanimous decision) — Must have possible left thumb ligament injury cleared by orthopedic doctor or suspended until January 2nd. Minimum suspension until August 5th with no contact until July 27th.
 
Justin McCully (defeated by Gabriel Gonzaga via submission - Round 1) — Must have left shoulder cleared by orthopedic doctor or suspended until January 2nd.
 
Cole Miller (defeated Jorge Gurgel via submission - Round 3) — Must have facial lacerations cleared by doctor or suspended until September 4th.
 
Jorge Gurgel (defeated by Cole Miller via submission - Round 3) — Mush have right tibia, fibia, and elbow x-rayed and cleared by orthopedic doctor or suspended until January 2nd.
 
Dennis Siver (defeated by Melvin Guillardvia TKO - Round 1) — Suspended until August 20th with no contact until August 5th.
 
Justin Bucholz (defeated Corey Hill via submission - Round 2) — Must have scalp laceration cleared by doctor or suspended until September 4th.
