Diego Sanchez Top Earner at TUF Finale

The Nevada State Athletic Commission have released the payouts for The Ultimate Fighter Season 7 Finale. The event took place in Las Vegas on 21st June 2008.
The top earner was Diego Sanchez. Sanchez took home $70,000 for his fight with Luigi Fioravanti. Fioravanti had to make do with just $10,000.
In the main event, Kendall Grove earned $32,000. He defeated Evan Tanner - who left with $25,000 in his pay packet.
Amir Sadollah's pay for his season winning performance was $16,000. Of course, Amir also won a contract which guarantees him a six figure sum.
The veterans Dean Lister and Jeremy Horn were paid $28,000 and $25,000 respectively for their fight.
These figures represent the base salaries of the fighters. The UFC habitually pay bonuses to their fighters which are not included in the base salaries. Each fighter is also free to negotiate their own sponsorship deal. These can, in some cases, add up to more than the base fighting salary. |
