Frank Mir has suffered plenty of setbacks in his career - including sustaining serious injuries in a motorcycle smash. The bad times look to be behind him, as a couple of high profile wins have earned him a shot at the UFC Heavyweight title.

In a interview with www.ironlife.com - Mir explained why he believes he can beat: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

“I think I’m a little more athletic. He’s been a lot more wars, so that’s an advantage that he has. It’s an advantage and a disadvantage, I think it’s an advantage because he knows how to fight long drawn out battles and come back from behind, he’s done it a lot more than I have, but the downfall of having been in so many fights and come back from behind, he’s been in a lot of battles, I think it has taken a lot of steam out of his engine”.
