Brock Lesnar to Face Heath Herring at UFC 87

With Mark "The Hammer" Coleman having to pull out of the bout against Brock Lesnar, the UFC has announced that Coleman's replacement will be MMA veteran Heath "Texas Crazy Horse" Herring.

There have been questions as to the UFC's tactics with the match-ups they have made regarding Lesnar's addition to the thinning Heavyweight roster. Many have thought the approach competing organisation EliteXC has taken regarding Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson would better suit Lesnar's early MMA and UFC bouts, in facing some easier opponents to secure several victories.

Headlining the bout will be a Welterweight title contest between Georges "Rush" St Pierre and Jon Fitch.

The other announced bout for UFC 87: Seek and Destroy is a lightweight contender battle between former TUF participant Kenny "KenFlo" Florian and Roger "El Matador" Huerta.
