Jens Pulver Ready for Big Fight

Jens Pulver is no stranger to big fights. In his long career, he has taken on stars such as BJ Penn, Caol Uno and Takanori Gomi. On June 1st, he fights WEC Featherweight champion Urijah Faber at World Extreme Cagefighting 34: Faber vs Pulver.

Pulver explained the importance of the event in an interview with TAGG Radio:

"Hands down, this is the biggest fight of my career. No ifs, ands or buts. This is it. I like where I'm at. I like being the challenger. I'm down at (145 pounds). I like the weight class. I'm coming off a quick win.

"You know, this is huge. This is huge for 145. This is big for the WEC, and this is big for me."

"Right now is a good time. That's what makes the biggest fight of my career because I'm right where I want to be. Everything is perfect... Now it's time to go out there and shine."

The fans appear to share Pulver’s enthusiasm. The WEC are expecting a record crowd at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California.
