UFC 85: Jason Day to Replace Chris Leben

Jason Day will replace Chris "The Crippler" Leben for the bout against Michael "The Count" Bisping at UFC 85: Bedlam in London, England on 14th June 2008.

Leben who recently turned himself in over a probation violation would not have had sufficient time to prepare for this bout. Day, who scored a first round stoppage over Alan Belcher at UFC 83: Serra vs St Pierre 2, was announced last Friday by the UFC to fight Bisping in the O2 Arena.

This is the second major change of the main card, as Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell had to pull out of his bout against Rashad Evans due to a severe hamstring injury.

The London show also sees the first time Matt Hughes has fought in the UK, as he faces Thiago Alves. Fabricio Werdum against Brandon "The Truth" Vera and Nate "The Great" Marquardt versus Thales Leites top another great UK UFC fight card.
