Martin Thompson Takes Ultimate Force Belt

Martin Thompson took the Ultimate Force Heavyweight title with a stunning victory over Tengiz Tedoradze in the main event of Ultimate Force: Punishment at the Doncaster Dome.
The hard punching Cumbrian took out the former champion in the first round. Tengiz has long been considered the number one Heavyweight in the UK. Coming on the back of his victory over Tom Blackledge, this win confirms Martin Thompson as one of the top big men on the UK scene.
Two other belts were contested at Ultimate Force: Punishment. Jason Ball defeated Leslee Ojugbana to retain his Welterweight strap. Ball beat Peter Angerer on his home turf in Germany last time out. Against Leslee, he further boosted his reputation with a display of destructive punching that brought the Doncaster crowd to its feet.
At Lightweight, Ross Pearson put in a highly impressive performance to defeat Aidan Marron. Pearson finished the bout with an arm bar submission in the third round. |
