UFC Bonuses Announced

At the post fight press conference Dana White announced who the recipients would be of the lucrative show bonuses. The bonuses for UFC 83: Serra vs St Pierre 2 was a massive $75,000 which is the largest handed out by the UFC to date.
Bonuses were given for Fight of the Night, Submission of the Night and Knockout of the Night.
The bonus for fight of the night went to Jonathan Goulet and Kuniyoshi Hironaka in a bout which saw Goulet victorious in the second round by TKO due to strikes.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu stand out Demian Maia picked up the bonus for submission of the night with a triangle choke victory over Ed "Short Fuse" Herman.
Knockout of the night went to Jason MacDonald for his second round stoppage of Joe Doerksen. |
