Ashleigh Grimshaw Dominates at Cage Rage Contenders 9

Pancrase London featherweight Ashleigh Grimshaw got back to his winning ways at Cage Rage Contenders 9 on Saturday the 12th of April. Ash fought tough brawler Cristian Binda but won by Ground and Pound in round one. Referee Grant Waterman stopped the bout just before Binda is seen tapping out from the rain of punches Grimshaw delivered from mount.
In the past, Binda fought fellow Pancrase fighter Dean "LW" Jones at lightweight and took it to the third round, suffice to say Grimshaw is pleased to have controlled the fight and finished early.
Following a quick knockout of the experienced Phil "Billy" Harris at FX3: Fight Night 6 - England vs Germany Grimshaw is climbing the ladder quickly. Grimshaw says he is going to train at American Top Team with regular training partner and fan favourite Brad "One Punch" Pickett and possibly has a fight against a to be named opponent in early May.
Dogged by several cancellations in the past the charismatic fighter is finally getting the chance to prove he is a force to be reckoned with in the UK featherweight scene.
