On Saturday 22nd April 2006 Lisa Newton has been invited to fight in the Smack Girl event in Osaka, Japan.  The fight will take place in the 48kg, flyweight, division.

In June 2005 Lisa changed her fight team and is now training full time with Dave Elliot in Newcastle.   She has found it difficult to find fights in the UK due to her size, her last fight she gave away 16kg, so looked further afield and was offered this great opportunity to compete.
