Paul Taylor vs Jess Liaudin at UFC 85

Jess Liaudin looks set for an all-British fight against Paul Taylor at UFC 85: Liddell vs Evans at London's O2 Arenea in June.
The pair first fought at a Cage Warriors event in February 2003, when Liaudin suffered a defeat after the fight went to a judges’ decision.
Liaudin made his UFC debut last year and secured a first-round submission win over Dennis Siver at UFC 70: Nations Collide and a first round TKO of Anthony Torres at UFC 75: Champion vs Champion.
But American hot shot Marcus Davis made short work of Liaudin at UFC 80: Rapid Fire in January, dispatching the France-born welterweight in just 64 seconds.
And Liaudin is under no illusions as to how important the fight with Taylor could be for his long-term UFC future.
He said: “This fight is very important for me as my actual record in the UFC is 2-1, so another loss may mean that I can get booted out.”
Taylor made his UFC at UFC 70: Nations Collide with a third-round TKO win over Ediberto Crocota.
Since then, he has suffered a submission loss to Davis at UFC 75: Champion vs Champion and a unanimous decision defeat to Paul Kelly at UFC 80: Rapid Fire.
But despite those two setbacks, his performances have earnt high praise from UFC president Dana White and Taylor looks set for a lengthy run in the Octagon.
