Jonathan Goulet Aims to Impress Home Crowd

Plenty of Canadians are excited about the prospect of UFC 83: Serra vs St Pierre 2 – including fighter Jonathan Goulet. The “Road Warrior” finally gets to fight at home in Quebec - but he has one problem.
Goulet, who fights Kuniyoshi Hironaka at the Bell Center in April, has only been given four tickets by the UFC. As the Montreal event is sold out - he has some tough choices.
He told the Canadian Press that he had to pick which family members to invite. Despite this problem he was still excited of the prospect of a home fight.
"They all want to come and see me. Every time I fight in Montreal or my home town Victoriaville, the crowd gives me so much energy. They are unbelievable. I really like the crowd here and I'm going to be more powerful than in Vegas."
Jonathan Goulet is well known for his outrageous hairstyles - but he admits that he only has them for the fight. He told the Canadian Press:
"I'm not walking around like that, when I'm taking my daughter to school. I'm not sure what the teacher would think about that." |
