Nate Marquardt vs Thalles Leite at UFC 85

Thalles Leite will fight Nate "The Great" Marquardt at UFC 85: Liddell vs Evans on 14 June 2008 at the O2 Arena in London, UK.

Thalles Leite suffered and injury when he defeated Ryan Jensen at UFC 74: Respect last August, but Graciemag.com report that he has told them that he is ready to return to the Octagon:

"My hand’s already well, I’m training and should fight on June 7 at UFC 85: Liddell vs Evans."

Thalles Leite went on to confirm that he will face Marquardt and then gave his opinion of his opponent.

"After waiting for so long, he has been really well studied. I had already seen two of his fights before, I know he’s dangerous, experienced and really aggressive. He knows how to fight standing and on the ground, he’s a tough guy to take down and has a good guillotine."

Nate Marquardt beat Jeremy Horn at UFC 81: Breaking Point in February 2008.
