Michal Hamrsmid Signs With HCF

Leading Czech fighter Michal Hamrsmid will make his North American debut against the Canadian Bill Boland at Hardcore Championship Fighting: Crow's Nest in Gatineau, Quebec on March 29th 2008.
Hamrsmid fights out of Prague and has built a reputation as a submission specialist. Hardcore Championship Fighting President Dave Houshiar said:
“Michal sent us a bio and we researched his background. Knowing this division often produces some of the most exciting fights in MMA we went out of our way to immediately execute a contract to retain his services.”
Hardcore Championship Chief Executive Officer Keith Crawford was also delighted to sign Hamrsmid. He expects the Czech to flourish in Canada. Speaking on the HCF website, he said:
“People love to see the big guy’s bang but the smaller weight divisions are always the most exciting fights. Having Hamrsmid gives HCF the foundation for the Flyweight Division that has many different Fight Teams excited. It is hard to find fights for 135 lb. fighters.” |
