Marc Goddard Injured

One of the most popular figures in the UK MMA scene has suffered an injury setback. Marc Goddard announced the bad news on the cagewarriors.com forum.
“Hi people, just to let you know that last night unfortunately I dislocated my knee. To make matters worse the knee cap was also fractured. I am returning to the specialist tomorrow for the full sp on the damage as well as having the knee brace fitted etc.
I am obviously very disappointed and gutted I will now miss my title shot with Jakob Lovstad at the up coming Angrrr Management: The Octagon Club show in March. Jakob, if you see this please don’t go anywhere as I would still love to fight you ASAP and respect you a lot as a fighter, sorry and I hope you get a replacement soon or on another show.
Even more gutted as I was due to begin my light heavy campaign and pick up from a very good 2007 in coming back and keep the momentum going. Thanks to everyone who has helped me thus far.... you know who you all are. Will await to see the specialist , recover and rehabilitate and get straight back in the saddle ASAP at LHW... business needs to be taken care of !”
