UFC 84 gets a boost to the main card for May 24th with the card headlined between BJ Penn & Sean Sherk for the lightweight title.

Keith "The Dean of Mean" Jardine has signed to face Wanderlei Silva, although Jardine’s camp have yet to confirm the news Silva did confirm on Friday that the fight was on, which comes after much speculation that Silva was dropping down to face Henderson depending on him capturing the middleweight title come Saturday against Anderson Silva at UFC 82: Pride of a Champion.

With this news of Jardine & Silva there are 6 top lightheavy weights on the card that include probably the last time we see Tito Ortiz in the octagon taking on the undefeated Ryoto Machida and another undefeated fighter Thiago Silva meeting TUF 2 winner Rashad Evans which is sure to make waves in the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas.
