Jon Koppenhaver to Move to Lightweight

The Ultimate Fighter 6 cast member and loose cannon Jon "War Machine" Koppenhaver is considering a possible move to the UFC’s 155-pound lightweight division. According to MMAJunkie, Koppenhaver revealed the news in a recent MySpace bulletin.

The Lightweight division is beginning to look like the most interesting weight class the UFC has to offer. As well as the feud between BJ Penn and Sean Sherk over who is the true champ - there are a number of other fighters who make 155 pounds a division to keep an eye on.

Koppenhaver lost to Tommy Speer on the TV show, but returned on the finale of the season to defeat Jared Rollins in a the stand out fight of The Ultimate Fighter Season 6 Finale. On the same card Mac Danzig defeated Tommy Speer to win become The Ultimate Fighter and claim a six figure contract with the UFC. Since then, Danzig has also decided to drop down to the 155 pound division.
