Brother of Joe, Dan Lauzon grabbed a submission victory at the World Championship Fighting event in Massachusetts.

Lauzon defeated replacement fighter Frank Latina with the UFC President in attendance for the event boasting a 3,700 crowd with familiar faces showing up for the event such as Marcus Davis, Kenny Florian, Jorge Rivera, Sean Gannon, Murilo Rua and TUF Season One fighter Alex Karalexis.

Having already had a outing in the UFC losing to the talented Spencer Fisher at the tender age of 18, Lauzon impressed by securing a triangle choke to end things early for Latina in three minutes.

After his performance at the event it is being rumoured that Dan will now go on to join the sister company of the UFC, WEC, where he will join the likes of Leonard Garcia, Urijah Faber, Carlos Condit and the man who suffered a TKO loss against his brother in his comeback fight, Jens Pulver.
