John and Tim Close Fighting Together Again

John Close and Tim Close (father and son) from KirkMerrington MMA in the North East are to fight again on the same fight card as they did back in Total Combat 17 (15th september 2006) when they both fought for Brittish titles. John Close, retired on the lost to Leslee Ojugbana but is set to make a come back against Andrew Fisher, where as his son Tim, is to fight Will Clarke an American wrestler who trains out of Team Storm in Germany in a semi-professional match up. This will take place in the new fighting event X-Fight 1 on the 30th March 2008 at Legends Bar in Sunderland.
Also featuring on the card is Kirkmerrington MMA fighter Kyle Fitzgerald, who is set to fight Aaron Reed another American wrestler who train out of Team Storm in Germany. Whilst Jack Sexton fights Swedish fighter Christopher Spang for the X-Fight FC semi-professional European Welterweight Title. Chas Jacquier will fight Reza Madadi in a professional bout for the X-Fight FC 73kg World Title.
