The Beast Wants The Last Emperor

Bob Sapp or The Beast as he is known in the world of Movies, American football and Mixed Martial Arts has been saying he wants to face heavyweight number 1 Fedor Emelianenko some time this year.
The big statue of a man, Sapp is scheduled for a Strikeforce event on 23th February against Jan Nortje at Tacoma Dome. Nortje is a giant of a man and will be looking down upon The Beast Sapp when these two collide which is a rariety in any match up Sapp's involved in Nortje is already known to Sapp back in the days where the two trained together, both have not set the MMA world alight, but are obviously capable of causing an upset with their size and power factor. Sapp is coming off a win on New year's Eve in Osaka, Japan where the majority of his fan base are located as he is a regular with his appearence in K-1. Sapp has also voiced his liking for facing Fedor Emelianenko in a bout, Sapp talked about how he saw weakness in the russian's MMA game when he fought Choi Hong Man at Yarenoka, but did acknowledge the skills of Fedor. Sapp will be hugely favoured for the fight and seeing Nortje record and the fact he hasn't won since 2002 shows he is experienced, but not at the level of The Beast but there is always something that doesn't go according to plan in MMA and Nortje may cause a big upset. |
