Yoshiyuki Yoshida Signs with UFC?

UFC have continued to add to their ranks of fighters with two more acquisitions.
The first is Japanese welterweight Yoshiyuki Yoshida, who is beleived to have signed a 4-fight contract with the UFC.
Strong reports coming from Yoshida's camp suggest a possible debut at the Ultimate fight night card on April 2nd, but no report on who an opponent is likely to be at this time.
Yoshida has excelled in MMA with an 8 fight win streak in Japanese promotions and has since caught the attention of the biggest MMA promotion and will look to proceed to the next level in his career.
Yoshida was successful in his last bout in December 2007, when he was able to defeat highly regarded UK fighter Dan Hardy who struck a low blow on Yoshida in which he was unable to continue and gain the victory via DQ.
Yoshida joins fellow Japanese fighter where he holds a majority victory of Keita Nakamura who is on the UFC 81: Breaking Point undercard against TUF fighter Rob Emerson. |
