Alessio Sakara Joins American Top Team

Alessio Sakara, He's 1-1 over he in the UK, but he'll be looking to turn that to winning ways when he returns on the January 19 to take on James Lee, but Sakara has changed scenes by moving to American Top Team to improve his career and gain a title performance in the future.

Sakara was Ko'd by the new kid on the block Houston Alexander at UFC 75: Champion vs Champion and will be joining the likes of Jon Fitch, Mike Swick & Josh Koscheck at his new home.

Sakara debuted in the UFC earning a victory over Elvis Sinosic at UFC 57: Liddell vs Couture 3, but from there it has been a bumpy ride with Sakara being 2-3 in his UFC career and sustaining two devastating Ko's to Alexander and McFedries, but there has been some hope with him gaining a Ko over Victor Valimaki at UFC 70: Nations Collide.

Now at his new home, he'll look to turn over a new leaf and even out his UFC career as another loss might give him his notice in the UFC.
