Dan Hardy Scores a Home Win

British star Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy got back to winning ways in his home town of Nottingham last Saturday, a week after the biggest disappointment of his career.
Only seven days earlier, Hardy had been disqualified at Greatest Common Multiple: Cage Force 5 for a low kick to his opponent Yoshiyuki Yoshida four seconds into the second round. The controversial decision in Japan shocked many in the sport and Hardy was keen to put it behind him by returning to the cage. A barrage of strikes from Hardy forced Manuel Garcia to tap in the first round of the fight at Cage Warriors: Enter The Rough House 5.
Another leading fighter from the Rough House gym scored a victory on the card at the Harvey Hadden Sports Centre. Jim Wallhead out pointed Paul "Hands of Stone" Jenkins in a three round cage kickboxing match. In the co-main event, Heavyweight Wayne Buck needed just 26 seconds to deal with Victor Aniolek. The win was the big hitting Buck’s first by way of submission. The unbeaten Tap or Snap fighter had stopped his previous opponents with his fists. |
