The Beast Returns Come February 2008

Bob "The Beast" Sapp will be returning to the world of MMA come February 23rd 2008 in Washington with Strikeforce.
The stature of the Beast will be felt with his 6ft 4 and 380lbs frame come Feb. as he looks to pick up where he left off back in Nov 2005 when he crushed Kim Jong Wang in an impressive 8 seconds, but Sapp was a part of the K-1 grand Prix in June and was unsuccessful in his attempts to thwart Peter Aerts when he was KO’d in the early part of the 1st round.
Sapp has also been recognised worldwide for his part in the film industry staring in such films as The Longest Yard with Adam Sandler and Elektra with Jennifer Garner.
With Sapp waiting for his return in February he is still unsure about his opponent as one has yet to be announced.
Another name confirmed for the Strikeforce card is former UFC Maurice Smith as he will be dukeing it out with the kickboxing specialist Rick Roufus. |
