Former PRIDE heavyweight, Sergei Kharitonov is rumoured to be fighting on the K-1: Premium Dynamite 2007 fight card. Nothing official has been announced by FEG yet, however according to Kharitonov’s website, he will be stepping into the ring on New Year’s Eve to face heavy hitter, Mighty Mo. At the present time, it is believed that the match will be under MMA rules.

Sergei Kharitonov was once one of the promising rising stars of PRIDE. He holds victories over many noteworthy fighters including Alistair Overeem, Fabricio Werdum, Pedro Rizzo, Semmy Schilt, and Murilo Rua. His career took a small dip when he dropped two fights in row, losing to Alistair Overeem and Aleksander Emelianenko back in 2006. During these fights, Kharitonov looked extremely fatigue and out of shape. Kharitonov is currently riding a 2-win streak, performing relatively decent in his last 2 fights. K-1: Premium Dynamite 2007 will be Kharitonov’s second appearance with FEG ever since signing against Alistair Overeem at Hero's 2007 (17 Sep 2007) several months ago.

Looking to put a stop in Kharitonov’s tracks will be K-1 veteran Siala "Mighty Mo" Siliga. The 2007 K-1 World Grand Prix in Hawaii Champion is best known for having a lethal right hand and a nearly indestructible granite chin (Peter Aerts and Kaoklai Kaennorsing have managed to KO Mo). Although not known for being a professional mixed martial artist, Might Mo has competed in MMA before. He currently holds a perfect record of 2-0-0, where he has finished off both of his opponents, Kim Min Soo & Ruben Villareal in those fights. It should be noted that Mighty Mo is scheduled to fight against Chalid Arrab in a reserve match at the K-1: World Grand Prix 2007 Final on December 8. Apparently, Mighty Mo must be expecting to emerge from that fight scratch-free if he wants to fight against Kharitonov.
