Jason Lambert vs Wilson Gouveia Signed For UFC 80

The fight that almost happened in September finally takes place this January.

According to UFC.com, Jason Lambert and Wilson Gouveia are signed to do battle in a light-heavyweight matchup at UFC 80: Rapid Fire from Newcastle, England on January 19.

The fight was originally scheduled for UFC 76: Knockout this past September but was put on hold when Gouveia had to withdraw due to an injury in training, but with the injury healed the fight is set to finally happen.

The updated UFC 80: Rapid Fire card as it stands right now:

Joe Stevenson vs. BJ Penn - for the UFC Interim Lightweight Championship
Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Fabricio Werdum
Wilson Gouveia vs. Jason Lambert
